Slow Burn

Begin to understand yoga movement and the body with long-held, basic poses. For anyone from beginner to athlete looking to try yoga and learn how it can enhance your body movements and health.

Anahata Flow
Come open your heart chakra. This flow class is all about backbends. Lots of fun postures from cobra to king pigeon to pincha. Heart openers can feel extremely challenging, so you might not even practice them. Come and try. Learn about your body and your limitations, Take a break or a breather whenever you’d like. And enjoy the space with fellow yogis that are also letting go of tension and allowing an opening of the most closed off space in our bodies. Backbends have many health benefits; they’re energizing! They strengthen the back, abdomen, shoulders and neck. Open the front body and feel euphoric.
Deep Flow
DEEP flow is a 75-minute class that emphasizes precise attention to alignment and joint mobility to help the body settle into asana (posture) and gracefully transition through vinyasa (movement). This class is simple and focused enough to be accessible to the beginning yogi, while also precise enough to challenge an advanced pratitiioner. DEEP flow helps students play in the balance between effort and ease, using props, playful playlists, and essential oils to help deepen your practice. It also ends with a small treat at the end as a reward for your hard work (hint: it’s chocolate).
Vinyasa Flow
Literally translated from Sanskrit, Vinyasa means “connection” or “flow” Vinyasa Yoga synchronizes movement with breath which helps the practitioner develop a greater sense of self-awareness, balance, and harmony with themselves and their environment. Vinyasa flow classes typically include smoothly flowing movements between poses guided by the force of inhales and exhales. Each class is unique, but may include the many variations of Sun Salutations as well as standing postures, inversions, backbends, twists, forward bends, and deep relaxation. This is an all levels flow class. Remember. Yoga is not about touching your toes. But what you learn on the way down.

Mediation Classes

Ancient meditation techniques taught how to be in a constant state of calm and focus, the Subconscious Meditation technique brings the methods of ancient teaching and combines it with modern neurological science to provide relief and calm in any situation.

Mediation to benefit anxiety disorders, anger management, trauma victims, autism spectrum.

Kids Classes

Youth yoga class provides tools that help children navigate physical, mental and emotional barriers. We strive to create a space where all children are supported and encouraged to try new things, where they feel safe and respected, and find joy and success in connecting to the community of other yogis.

ROCKET YOGA

Come join our first class with Carson! Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and challenging sequence, combining poses and transitions from Ashtanga’s Primary, Second, and Third Series. In this class, you can expect a little bit of everything: arm balances, backbends, deep twists, and of course, inversions. Be ready to work hard and play hard.

BEGINNER HANDSTAND WORKSHOP

COME HANG UPSIDE DOWN WITH CARSON!

This workshop is perfect for students starting an inversion practice, or for teachers looking for tips to help beginner students. We will cover the fundamentals of inverting, and learn how to use the wall and other props to get you started safely on this journey.

**No upside-down experience required, just a positive outlook and a desire to learn.

INVERSION TRICKS

Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2pm – 4pm

INVERSION TRICKS WITH CARSON!

In this workshop, we will dive deeper into the trickier elements of inverting: handstand pressing, floating in sun salutations, transitioning in and out of arm balances, and many
more drills to take with you to your home practice.

**Prerequisites: a comfortable crow pose and some experience upside-down.

FLOAT WITH BREATH

Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 10am – 12pm

LEARN TO FLOAT!

This workshop will cover the basics of floating: Pranayama/Breath work, Bandhas/Core control, and Focus/Meditation practices. Using the discipline of Ashtanga Yoga, we will cultivate strength and grace in the movements, building to a pike press handstand and a floating Jedi Sun Salutation.

Learn techniques to make your yoga practice stronger. In this workshop, we will use body weight exercises to build arm and shoulder stability, core control, and a stronger pair of legs.
